Ossian Giant Gravel Grinder featuring Jeremy Powers (4/13 -4/14) They're back! Join 4X National Champion Jeremy Powers and national fan favorite, Anthony Clark of Squid Squad as they take on the Elite field of The Giant.
With fields for racers of all abilities, the Giant is back with a new courses for 2019 as we continue to showcase the gravel mecca that is Swain, NY. The 2018 version was a muddy master piece as it truly tested the limits of even the toughest riders, and this year's course will no doubt do the same but with new roads, new features, new swag courtesy of Castelli and all the same great support from Bike Loft East and Sam Patch Promotions, Inc.
In addition to stellar race options, we will host a pre-ride Friday night party for early arrivals and a post-race bash at Swain's Shawmut. We will also have Heckle Wagons available for the the race so bring your friends and family to hitch a ride on our buses as they get chauffeured around the course for a spectator rolling party.
Following all the fun on race day, join Powers and Clark for a breakfast, a recovery ride of 20 miles on a different course than Saturday, and a post-ride lunch on 4/14 to help us raise money for local junior development.
Prattsburgh Gravel Classic featuring Anthony Clark (4/20) What's cooler than Anthony Clark on a cross bike jumping an 1987 El Camino? Well, nothing. But racing PGC is a pretty close second.
One of the longest standing gravel races in NYS, and the first ever Gravel Racing State Championship in 2017, Prattsburgh is truly the classic of the series. This year we welcome Clark of Squid Squad to the event for the first time where he will compete in the Elite field and look to join the fun for a pre-ride option on Friday and some post race party on Saturday.
With the famed Hungry Hollow Climb on all three courses Newton Road Climb and gnarly Newton Road Descent on both the Intermediate and Elite courses and the Elite racers hitting two loops, this race will test your grit and handling like no other.
"The Prattsburgh Gravel Classic course stands out in the Mudslinger Gravel Series as the course with the best mix of terrain. It combined fast pavement with the quintessential steep gravel climbs of the finger lakes region and technical two track 4wd roads that pushed rider's skill." - Dan Timmerman Retired Pro CX Racer/PGC Winner 2017
Hills of High_Tor Gravel Race Championship Race (5/4) This year's Championship Race is brought to you by a staple in the WNY bike scene, Andy August and the Park Ave Race team. This crew has been putting on killer cross and mtb races for years such as the S6, Hard Core 24, and Halloween Cross (the 2018 NYS State Championship).
We are thrilled that Andy and his crew will make their gravel debut in Naples, NY as our Championship Event. It is sure to be gravelicious.
